300kWp/203kWh Project completed by Solarika Energy at Royal Palace Hotel, Juba, South Sudan
Solarika Energy an Engineering,
Procurement and Construction Company based on Uganda and South Sudan is
proud to announce the successful completion of a significant solar power
installation project at Royal Palace Hotel , Juba, South Sudan The system, designed and
installed by Solarika Energy, is a testament to our commitment to providing
cutting-edge, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. This project
incorporates high-quality solar panels, advanced hybrid inverters, and
state-of-the-art battery storage. It is designed to meet the energy demands of Royal
Palace Hotel while contributing to
environmental sustainability.
The key project Specifications are a solar capacity of 300 kWp a Battery Storage of 203 kWh and a total of 250kW Hybrid Inverters. The solar system installed at Royal Palace Hotel is a hybrid power system that combines solar generation, battery storage, and a hybrid inverter solution to ensure the facility's energy needs are met while reducing dependence on generators and adding backup capabilities. 517 Jinko solar panels of 580 watt are utilized in the project. The solar panels are mounted on the facility's rooftop, utilizing space efficiently and capturing optimal sunlight throughout the day. The high-efficiency solar panels generate clean and renewable electricity to power the facility.
The system includes a high-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery storage system that provides energy storage. The capacity is 203 kWH using Deye High voltage batteries. This enables to overcome any fluctuations in solar generation during day, backup power for two to three hours during evening time. The system is integrated with 5 hybrid inverters, each with a capacity of 50 kW, bringing the total inverter output to 250 kW. The inverters intelligently manage the power flow between the solar panels, battery storage, and load, and as same time manage generator, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted energy supply.
The system is designed to significantly reduce reliance on generator and reduced the fuel consumption. Daily more than 400 liters of fuel are saved. By using renewable energy from the sun, Royal Palace Hotel ’s carbon footprint is significantly reduced, supporting its sustainability goals. The battery storage system ensures that critical operations can continue during power failure from generator or during grid outages.
The successful installation of the 300kWp/203kWh system at Royal Palace Hotel
is a significant achievement for Solarika Energy. This project not only
showcases Solarika Energy technical and managerial capability but also
highlights its commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative energy
solutions.
